Happy Birthday

I sat here to write this, and I didn’t have the words.

It’s easier to not remember dates because then maybe I don’t have feel the feelings

But today is a very special day in deed. It is your first heavenly birthday. The day you passed on this earth you were reborn into a place of no more pain, no more suffering, plenty of babies for you to rock and sing to sleep.

You were reborn into a world that had family members and friends you had long been missing.

So while we may shed a few tears for you down here, it is only because we miss you. For we do not grieve that you are no longer here, knowing you are in a better place.

Happy birthday, Mom! We’ve told everyone to have an ice cream sundae in your honor.

We love you. We miss you. We will see you again someday.
